Chris Martin claims songs put horses in the mood for sex

The singer says their music was played to a reluctant stud – who got amorous after hearing one of their biggest hits.

He said: “We heard that there was a guy who couldn’t get his horse to breed properly.

“He played Fix You and sex took place. Now he has the most expensive stud farm in Britain.”
The frontman and his wife, Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow, recently splashed out on a £6 million LA mansion with stables and fields – despite Gwyneth’s professed hatred of horses.

Maybe he’s planning to start a breeding business of his own, complete with piped music to keep the nags in the mood.

When gauging the potential of his new tracks, however, Chris turns to a more reliable source and asks his kids.

The 35-year-old rocker says he can tell he has a hit on his hands by the reaction of Apple, eight, and six-year-old Moses.

He said: “Kids are very honest – if they start singing a song it’s because they like it. It’s a great gauge.”
And he said the cute pair stop him from getting too big for his boots.

He said: “When we played Wembley Stadium I was like, ‘Wow, now we are big rock stars’, but the next morning the kids were saying to me, ‘Get me some pancakes'.”

Coldplay star Martin forgets lyrics at US gig!!

"It's a big deal, man. We've never had the Olympics in our lifetime so you can't blame a band for thinking about it every once in a while - 'God, the f***ing Olympics are happening in London!' "

Chris Martin while performing at the US gig forgets the lyrics and told the fans that he got distracted and put the reason of Olympic for such a mishap.

He told the crowd: "Oh s***. I was thinking about the Olympics.

"I was distracted. I was not in the break-up frame of mind and I should have been.

"I'm going to get back into it. I'm going to stop thinking about pole vault, things like that, and I'm going to focus back in on the song. So is everybody else.

He added: "What's more important is the best concert in the world is happening right here, right now, so we'd better carry on.

"F*** the Olympics. Let's have a f***ing great time in Boston."

He paused the song and said: "Please don't tweet that I said: 'F*** the Olympics'.

"I didn't mean that. Please don't turn it into a news story, whatever you do, because we're going to play the end of it.

"Don't tweet that either! S***, I'm in a big mess now."

"I'm not sure when it's gonna happen, maybe never, but one day I'd love to get there, and to get a number one single and album!"

She added: "I'd love to do a movie - maybe a film like Katy Perry has just done, about her career.

Coldplay
start from the beginning has been criticized for his last record, the 'Mylo Xyloto'.

Singer Chris Martin admitted the group felt "very low" the 2008 'Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends', which left them with "nothing to lose" when making their latest record.

He said: "We got to a very low place on the last record where we felt not very popular. But it was refreshing as it made us start from scratch. A clean slate.

"So many people had made up their minds about us already that we had nothing to lose."

The band frontman also includes guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman and drummer Will Champion - are now "tighter" after receiving "vitriolic criticism" for 'Viva La Vida'.

Chris added: "I'll be honest. On the last album a few things happened that we'd never experienced before, like lawsuits and really vitriolic criticism.

"After all that hurt it makes you tighter and adds fire to everything. It was a closing of ranks".

Guitarist Joe Satriani had filed a copyright infringement against Coldplay in December 2008 after claiming 'Viva La Vida' took elements of his track 'If I Could Fly'.

Coldplay originally 'Mylo Xyloto' acoustic record, but the plan was scrapped when they planned their latest single 'Paradise' was written.

Will explained to The Sun newspaper: "We'd started an acoustic album but then we wrote 'Paradise' and knew the acoustic thing didn't have any legs."

Chris Martin is a singer of the'Paradise' band', who intimate show by the band's energy onstage, but admits that things can get a little sweat.

He told coldplay.orange.fr: "In the smaller places people can smell you more, which is a bad thing, because we get hot.

"A stadium is, in some ways, easier because no one is offended by the way you smell.

"But there are also advantages to smaller venues, there's a lot of firey energy and even slow songs sound very powerful and, of course, I love seeing my favourite artists in small places."

Drummer Will Champion admits that he's a small venue is a bit daunted, because they are related to the band rush.

He added: "In the small shows you can see every person's facial expressions, you can see if they are on their mobile phone, you can see everything, so it's a bit more nerve wracking."
