Yellow singers Chris Martin and the rest of his group will come into view in an episode in the 20th anniversary series, which starts in September, the Sun reports, when Homer calls the group to his house in Springfield after he wins the lottery and starts splatter out on luxuries.
Executive producer Al Jean revealed: "When Bart goes to the bathroom, Coldplay have to stop."
A source said: "Chris recorded his part with Dan Castellaneta (the voice of Homer) last week.
"He had four lines to do and upset them off. It was surreal hearing Homer and Chris talking but a really good laugh.
"Chris is the only one in the band with a speaking part, which he thoroughly enjoyed.
"He'll keep in mind it for ever and his kids will love it."
