Natalie Imbruglia New lease of life Coldplay




SHE is a soap opera star turned pop ingenue. They are a Grammy award winning alternative rock band.
Natalie Imbruglia singer in Australian would not be the first artist composed by Coldplay Bristish quarter. But her new album, Come To Life, features several contributions by Coldplay's lead singer Chris Martin, including a track, Lukas, that the band wrote but could not fit into their last album, Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends (2008).
Besides Lukas, Martin also wrote Fun and tweaked the chorus of Want for the album. Imbruglia, a big Coldplay fan, tells Life! over the telephone from London currently: 'Chris just called me out of the blue and told me he had some songs that he liked but couldn't fit into the Coldplay album.
'I didn't hesitate at all. I just said yes. He is a genius in the studio. He is very creative, very energetic and works around the clock. He raises the bar for me and it is nice to be around that kind of perfection.'
The star got to know Martin 'years ago' as she used to attend all of Coldplay's early gigs.
