Coldplay will reveal to present his career at Cape Town Stadium on 5th October, his concert tickets now available.Big Concerts chief operating officer John Langford said on Thursday, shortly after tickets went on sale at 9am, show that he sold were expecting.
Langford said the Golden Circle tickets were already sold out and there are few standing room only tickets left.
Ticket queues on Thursday morning included some fanatical fans. “How often do bands like Coldplay come here? I thought I had to go to England to see them. I have always wanted to see them live,” said Brian Gimmer in the Kloof Street Checkers queue.
At the V&A Waterfront, fans were no less enthusiastic.Stacey Southgate said, “Chris Martin (lead singer) is a god". "This is quite big for South Africa; we usually get old fogies,” she said. - Saturday Argus
